About Your Life and Soul Counselling
My name is Lindsay and I am an integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP. I work with children, teenagers and adults. I am passionate about supporting you to reconnect with yourself so you can trust your intuition. I will help you explore the challenges you are facing in a safe, collaborative and non-judgemental space. I want you to become the life and soul of your own party!

When working with children, I use a combination of creative and play based activities alongside talk therapy to better understand the child’s experience of the World around them. The focus is on allowing the child to explore their situation whilst providing psycho-education and a toolkit of skills to enable them to manage their emotions better.
Teenagers today are facing a lot of challenges, particularly since COVID-19. Not only are they going through an array of changes, they are under enormous pressure to catch up and anxiety levels are high. I can help them to make sense of their situation and provide opportunities to explore their struggles at their own pace, without judgement.
Whether you are feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed or maybe you don’t know how you feel, I can support you to explore what is going on for you. By developing self awareness and better understanding your feelings, it is possible to regain a sense of control over our lives and ultimately feel better.
Whether you are currently suffering HG, are recovering from an HG pregnancy, or perhaps considering having another baby after an HG pregnancy, counselling can help. As a survivor of 2 HG pregnancies, I am uniquely placed to understand your pregnancy journey and offer a compassionate space to share your experiences without judgement.
Some questions answered…
What is Counselling?
Counselling provides an opportunity to reconnect to yourself by creating a safe space where all feelings are welcomed and accepted; allowing time to reflect on your experiences and work through your challenges at your own pace whilst having the support and perspective of my professional insight.
How can counselling help?
How would you like time in the week that is just for YOU; where you don’t have to look after anyone else? I can offer 50 minutes a week of uninterrupted time, impartial listening and the opportunity to explore whatever feels important to you. There are lots of reasons for seeing a counsellor but time for you is at the heart of it.
Where am I based?
I work from a light and airy therapy room in my garden in Addlestone, Surrey.
