About Your Life and Soul Counselling
My name is Lindsay and I am an integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP. I work with children, teenagers and adults. I am passionate about supporting you to reconnect with yourself so you can trust your intuition and help you work through the challenges you are currently facing. I want you to become the life and soul of your own party!

”In this world of stress, counselling can be the ultimate gift of self care - like gym membership for the heart and mind!

Who I work with
Children
When working with children, I use a variety of play and art based activities to better understand the child’s experience of the World. The focus is on allowing the child to explore their situation and providing psycho-education and a toolkit to enable them to manage their emotions better.
Young People
Teenagers go through many changes and experience huge pressure not just at school and from their peers but also through social media. I can help to make sense of their situation and provide opportunities to explore their struggles without judgement.
Adults
Whether you are feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed or maybe you don’t know how you feel, I can support you to explore what is going on for you. By better understanding your feelings, it is possible to regain a sense of control over our lives and feel better.
Workshops for Parents
Coming soon – Workshops aimed at parents who want to meet others in a similar situation and work together to find your way through challenging times with me to guide you along the way. I aim to create a comfortable and nurturing environment, whilst maintaining a safe and confidential space for you to share your thoughts and feelings.

Some questions answered…
What is Counselling?
Counselling provides an opportunity to reconnect to yourself by creating a safe space where all feelings are welcomed and accepted; allowing time to reflect on your experiences and work through your challenges at your own pace whilst having the support and perspective of my professional insight.
How can counselling help?
How would you like time in the week that is just for YOU; where you don’t have to look after anyone else? I can offer 50 minutes a week of uninterrupted time, impartial listening and the opportunity to explore whatever feels important to you. There are lots of reasons for seeing a counsellor but time for you is at the heart of it.
Where am I based?
I work from a light and airy therapy room in my garden in Addlestone, Surrey.
